DSP680 Auto Tuning DSP Processor for External Amplifier Systems

AudioWinner DSP680 is a 6-input 8-output pure car audio DSP processor developed for car audio systems that use external power amplifiers. It handles signal input, routing, equalization, crossover, phase and time alignment without limiting the installer to a built-in amplifier configuration.

DSP680 is suitable for professional installers, distributors, car audio retailers and OEM/ODM buyers who need a flexible standalone DSP platform for active multi-channel systems.

Pure DSP Architecture and Flexible Signal Routing

DSP680 does not contain a built-in power amplifier. Its eight RCA outputs allow installers to select external amplifiers according to speaker power, channel layout and vehicle requirements.

The processor supports six high-level inputs or six RCA inputs for connection to factory and aftermarket audio sources. Optical and coaxial digital inputs are available for compatible digital audio sources. External USB audio and Bluetooth 5.4 modules can be added when required.

Eight RCA outputs with output voltage up to 4V provide flexible connections to external amplifiers for active multi-channel car audio systems.

Cirrus Logic DSP and Precision Sound Adjustment

DSP680 uses the Cirrus Logic CS47048C-DQZR and CS5343 signal-processing platform with 24-bit/192kHz ADC and DAC.

The system can be adjusted through 31-band EQ, crossover frequency, filter type, filter slope, phase and time alignment. The adjustable Q value ranges from 0.5 to 9, while EQ gain ranges from -18dB to +12dB.

Time alignment can be adjusted up to 15 ms. Ten presets allow installers and users to save different tuning configurations for different vehicles, seating positions or listening preferences.

Auto Tuning and Multiple Control Options

DSP680 supports AudioWinner auto tuning when used with compatible PC software and an auto tuning microphone.

The microphone measures the in-vehicle frequency response. The software analyzes the measurement and creates a baseline DSP correction. The installer can then fine-tune EQ, crossover, delay, phase and output levels according to the vehicle and listening target.

DSP680 can also be configured through PC software and supported Android and iOS applications. An optional LED wired controller can be added for convenient volume, source and preset control.

The auto tuning microphone, LED wired controller, Bluetooth 5.4 dongle and external USB audio module are optional accessories.

System Integration

DSP680 can be connected to factory or aftermarket head units through high-level, RCA, optical or coaxial inputs. Its eight RCA outputs send the processed signal to external amplifiers.

Optional accessories can be selected according to the project, including a Bluetooth 5.4 dongle, external USB audio module, auto tuning microphone, LED wired controller and vehicle-specific plug-and-play harness.
